Our new song 'Runnin on the wheel' is about the speed of life right now. The devil's got us running on the wheel busying ourselves with anything but God. So many voices coming at us, no time to check the compass, just keep running. I read a statistic that said 70% of Head teachers in England who retired died within one year. There's so much information, so much stimulation. The devil doesn't want us to focus on what is really going on. As the book of Daniel predicts we are running to and fro as knowledge increases. However Jesus exhorts us to recognize the signs and then look up for our redemption is near. It's good to plan for the future but not to count on it. This life is transient, a vapour, so let's focus on that which is eternal. Jesus is The Life.
